Four Martial Arts Programs. Three Markets.

Every Professional Black Belt Academy location launches with the complete program suite — generating revenue from martial arts enrollment, childcare, and fitness simultaneously.

Four Revenue Programs

Every location launches with the full program suite — multiple revenue streams from day one.

Core Revenue Program

Kids Martial Arts

Ages 4–12

Discipline, confidence, and self-defense through Taekwondo, American Karate, Kickboxing, and Jiu-Jitsu. The foundation of every PBA location.

Growing Segment

Teen & Adult

Ages 13+

All four martial arts systems for teens and adults — self-defense, fitness, and focus. One of the fastest-growing segments in the industry.

Daycare Market

After-School Leadership

Ages 5–12

A licensed childcare alternative that adds a daily revenue stream beyond class fees. Character development, homework support, and martial arts under one roof.

Seasonal Filler

Summer Camp

All ages

Intensive summer programs that keep enrollment strong and revenue consistent during the school off-season.

What Each Program Delivers

Four programs. Each one built to generate revenue, drive retention, and compound on the others.

01

Kids Martial Arts

Ages 4–12  ·  Core Revenue Program

The foundation of every PBA location and the highest-enrollment program in the franchise. Students ages 4–12 train in all four systems across skill-grouped classes — from beginner Red Warriors (ages 4–6) through advanced Titans (ages 7–12). Every student progresses at their own pace through a structured curriculum.

The belt progression system is the retention engine. A family that comes in for the first belt stays for the black belt — a journey of four to six years. Bully prevention, confidence, and leadership development are the outcomes every parent is seeking, and the reason word-of-mouth is consistently the top enrollment driver at every PBA location.

Teen & Adult

Ages 13+  ·  Growing Segment

One of the fastest-growing segments in the martial arts industry — and one of the most profitable. Teens and adults train in all four systems with a focus on self-defense, fitness, and stress reduction. Unlike kids, adults don't age out. A student who starts at 25 can be a black belt candidate at 30 and an active member for life.

Parents already enrolled in Kids MA are your first pipeline. Many cross-enroll alongside their children, turning a single family into two active revenue-generating memberships. Classes run on flexible schedules designed to fit working adults — which is itself a key retention driver.

After-School Leadership

Ages 5–12  ·  Daycare Market

A licensed childcare alternative — not just an extra class. Students receive transportation directly from their local elementary school to the academy, then spend the afternoon with homework time, martial arts training, and leadership development under professional supervision.

This program solves a real daily logistics problem for parents, which is why retention is significantly higher than standard class memberships. It also generates daily revenue rather than weekly or per-session fees — a fundamental shift in the unit economics of a location that no single-market martial arts school can match.

Summer Camp

Ages 6+  ·  Seasonal Revenue

Most martial arts schools lose revenue when school is out. PBA locations don't. Summer Camp — plus Winter Break and Spring Break sessions — fills the enrollment gap with full-day programming that generates stronger per-student revenue than standard class memberships.

Sessions are capped at 26 campers, which creates waitlist demand and supports premium pricing. Campers who aren't already enrolled in the core program convert to year-round students at a strong rate, making camp one of the best new-student pipelines in the entire model.

Four Martial Arts Disciplines

Most schools specialize in one. PBA franchises offer four — reaching the widest possible student base.

Taekwondo

Taekwondo

Korean striking art. Fast kicks, dynamic movement, Olympic sport.

American Karate

American Karate

Full-contact competitive style with deep roots in US martial arts.

Kickboxing

Kickboxing

Stand-up striking combining boxing and kicks. Fitness and self-defense.

Jiu-Jitsu

Jiu-Jitsu

Ground-based grappling. One of the fastest-growing disciplines globally.
